(1). Fresh Admission for all classes I, II, III, IV, VI & VII have been completed and the strength of the Vidyalaya as on 31.07.2010 is 365. Each class has the maximum strength i.e. 40 as per the admission guidelines.                             (2). Van Mahotsav was celebrated on 9/07/2010 with the plantation of more than 100 plants by the teachers and the students.                         (3). The PTA general body meeting was conducted on 20/07/2010 & election to the PTA executive body was held. The academic performance of the students of KV Jamtara was reviewed.                        (4). Vidyalaya corridors have been beautified with the portraits of the scientists leaders and other information.

Year 2008-09

1.Computer lab was set up in April 2008

2.A new mathematical garden was created at the rear of the school building in April 2008.

3.First Annual day was celebrated on 12 April 2008 with Shri Sahajanand Sharma IAS DC Jamtara as the Chief Guest.

4.First issue of KVIANS newsletter was released on 12th April 2008.

5.Three First prize winners and one second prize winner in drawing and painting competition conducted for all schools for Jamtara.

6.Redesigned aesthetically decorated Resource room was created in July 2008.

7.Junior Science Lab was setup in July 2008.

8.Dial up connection of RIM Internet was made in July 2008.

9.Social Science Exhibition at Cluster level 2008 .
- 02 students Master Kumar Shivam and Master Shubham potdar secured 2nd and 3rd position at Cluster level competing with IXth and XIth class students of Bokaro cluster.

10. 03 students of class VI participated in the Regional athletic meet at KV No 2 CRPF Bhubaneswar. Master Sidhu Murmu came 4th in 100 mtrs race.

11.Foundation stone for permanent school building was laid on the proposed site at Hansipahari by Shri Shibo Soren Chief Minister of Jharkhand on 1st October 2008.

12.The Vidyalaya was connected to BSNL Broadband on 10th November 2008.

13.First Annaul sports Day 2008 was celebrated on 11th December 2008. shri Sahajanand Sharma IAS DC Jamtara was the Chief Guest.

14.The 1st issue of Vidyalaya Patrika was released on 11th December 2008 by the DC Jamtara.

15.Mini Sports Meet on 9th Jan 2009 at KV No 1 Bokaro
KV Jamtara won 10 first prizes out of 26 and 05 second and 5 third prizes.The Vidyalaya was also Runners up in KhoKho boys. Master sanjit Murmu of class I became the individual champion by winning three 1st prizes in 30 mtrs, 50mtrs and 80mtrs race. Khusboo Kumari of class V became individual champion by winning three 1st prizes in 50 mtrs, 80 mtrs and 100 mtrs race.

16. All the children went on an educational excursion to Parvat Vihar Jamtara on 28th January 2009.

17.Two boys and two girls of KV Jamtara participated in Cluster level debate competition held at KV No 1 Bokaro on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Master kumar Shivam won the 1st prize and represented the Vidyalaya at the regional level competition held at KV Sambalpur.

18.Result of annual examination 2008-09 was 100%.

19.Children park materials such as Sliding Chute, Mery go Round and SeeSaw have been installed.

20.Second issue of KVIANS news letter was released on 28th March 2009.

Year 2009-10

1.Second Annual Day was celebrated on 29th April 2009 with Shri Kripa Nand Jha IAS DC Jamtara as the Chief Guest.
