Scouts & Guides 

Class VI students were registered under BS&G.

Activities performed under scout and Guides.

1) Thinking day was celebrated.

An Overview:- The kendriya Vidyalaya Jamtara celebrated"The Thinking Day".An all faith prayer was conducted during the assembly by the Scouts and Guides and the whole school participated in it. Our Principal Mrs. Lalita Bankira also participated in this prayer. After that the scouts and Guides

2) Van Mahostav.

The vidyalaya scouts and guides participated in van Mahostav organised at school level. In which Scouts and Guides of Vidyalaya Planted 10 seasonal plants  in vidyalaya primises.

A slogan and Drawing competition is organised for scouts and guides of the vidyalaya on save our enviornment.

A Speech is delivered by Mast. Kumar Shivam a scout of the vidyalaya on "Trees are our best friends".

3) Under Proficiency Badge slow cycling is organised for scouts of the vidyalaya. Two class VIII and 10 class IX students successfully participated in this competition.

4) The scouts and Guides of the vidyalaya were went for Hiking to nearest hill top called "Parvat Vihar" which is 5 km from vidyalaya.The teachers Mrs. Nomita Pandey AD GC,Mrs. Poonam kumari BGc,Mr. Joshi Sushil Ad. S.M.,Mr. Gopal Kalundia S.M., Mohd. Naim TGT Lib are the escort for the students.

5) Vidyalaya students 8 scouts and 10 guides successfully participated in Tritiya sopan testing camp at kv Maithon Dam from 25 aug to 27 aug-2011.
